Joerg Stachowiak received his diploma degree in mechanical engineering in 2005 from the University of Applied Sciences in Dresden, Germany. Before his employment at the INP, he worked as a mechanical designer at different industries like shipbuilding, avionics, automotive and device technology. One of his main emphasis was the computational simulation of strength (FEM) and flow coupled with temperature (CFD). Since 2013 he is development engineer at the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology e.V. (INP Greifswald) in the field of Plasma Biotechnology.
